Account Executive – Fintech

Basiq is Australia’s leading Consumer Data Right (CDR) platform that provides data services to over 120 businesses ranging from banks to fintech start-ups within a wide array of industry verticals such as lending, wealth, investing and money management.

We are scaling fast! Cuscal Pty Ltd recently acquired a controlling interest in Basiq helping accelerate the expansion of solutions and the data services required to adopt open banking capability. 

Now is the time to join this exciting business. We’re looking for a passionate sales professional, an Account Executive, to join our growing Growth Team. This is a sales position responsible for hunting and closing new deals & relationships. This role will need an adaptable fast moving responsive individual to focus on meeting OTE.

Then this opportunity is for you. The role reports to the Head of Growth and works alongside our Support engineers and Account Managers and your BD peers.

Responsibilities and Duties 

● Strategic ownership of the entire sale cycle, from customer acquisition to closing deals 
● Be fully responsible end-to-end for the success and satisfaction of ‘your’ clients. 
● Build relationships with key people and leverage those relationships to drive the best           possible experience from inbound/outbound to Go Live.
● Drive opportunities forward to closing from warm qualified leads
● Negotiate and execute contracts 

● Analyse, assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. You will deliver expertise, education, and guidance as they craft and execute their strategy. 
● Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners over the phone and face to face. 
● Work with cross-functional teams to drive growth outcomes for Basiq and our customers. 
● Maintain a strong pipeline health and update accordingly progress 

Qualifications 

● Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive level 

● + 3 – 10 years of successful experience in a quota-driven Sales capacity 
● Possess Strong communication skills – verbal and written 

● Ability to be self-motivated and organised 

● A solution-oriented approach to selling large complex business 

● Strong understanding of IT-related processes 

● Experience in DATA aggregation or Data services  is a bonus
